Move in the way of Joy

Move

Move in the way of Joy

Let her carry you

She is the butterfly

The fresh Spring bloom

She is the light

Outside the cocoon

You see her now

You hear her tune

So rest in her wake

Let her carry you

And move

In him

I see me

In her

A stirring

Of truth

That we

Are all the same

No one

To blame

Just love

Each part

A quiet tending

The garden

Of the heart

Til wholeness

Becomes us still

Go into the center

Of yourself

Go there

Breathe

Go into the center

Of yourself

Rest

Be free

Feet in the sand

With a warm cup of tea

Windblown

Sun kissed

Peaceful and free

Don’t worry bout where you’re going

Don’t worry bout who you’ll be

Rest in the arms of unknowing

Live

Love

Be free

Be with the Earth

Let her take your hand

She will walk with you

To the Promised Land

Right here inside you

Where the wild things are

Birds have names

And speak through their beaks

As they dance

Down the lane

Through fields of green

And streams of gold

Each bend

A story, a sight to behold

With a kind and sacred gaze

As sheep look up

From a peaceful graze

With unborn in tow

They know everything

They need to know

Now

Where the wild things are

Wind reigns supreme

With her mighty governance

And majesty

She moves waves

As sails in the boundless sea

And our souls

Fall humbly to their knees

As we walk, in awe

Slowly and carefully

Then run

Through open fields

Of possibility

To the wild water’s edge

Where land meets tide

And we long for nothing more

Than to abide

In the embrace

Of our beloved Mother

Who kisses our face

With drops of goodness

And beauty and love

As doves float above us

And bathe in the air

I know

We are so abundantly

Cared for

Where the wild things are

Yes

That’s where we’ll be

You’ll find us there

Running wildly

Where we

We are free

To be wild

At the edge of mystery

Lies bountiful peace

A subtle release

Of knowing

Anything but now

A child’s laughter

A setting sun

A fragrant cookout

A cricket’s song

Leaves me longing

For nothing

Presence

Has found me

And taken my hand

In a sacred dance

Through enchanted lands

Of unknowing

For the birds

For the air

For deep peace

And awareness of wonder

For the wind

For the rain

For the love

And the pain

That opened me

For this breath

For this heart

For new blooms

And fresh starts

Of today

For my home

For my grays

For quiet, spacious days

Of deep healing

For new eyes

And new skin

For new wrinkles

And this pen

Of gratitude

You are beauty

You are wild and free

You are royal

You are dignity

Be gentle

With yourself

Dear one

It’s ok

Let me take

Your hand

And show you

The way

Back to the way

Of ease

Becoming a bird

Outstretching her wings

Learning to sing

Again

Unknown flight

No plight

For her now

The air

Will care for her

In just the right way

At just the right time

And so she goes

Into the blue

Of the boundless sky

And all she really knows

Is “fly”

Two diamonds

In the sky

Sharing light

Shining

Equally bright

Fashioned by the night

That brought them

Here

Crystal clear

With faces aglow

They shimmer

And rest

In the flow

Of knowing

That Presence

Is the way

For them

Now

Green buds

Dressing trees

Dancing slowly

With the breeze

Of Spring

Leaves me

Weeping

At the wonder

Of it all

Today

The birth

Of a new season

Mourning

What I thought would be

Grieving possibility

Lost

In the shattering

Of what was

Now remains

A broken dream

A breath

Of early Spring air

Tiptoes through

My heart’s back door

A welcome visitor

Cloaked in color

Fragrant with kindness

Gently takes a seat

At the table

Of my days

And into the night

We dance

A sweet, harmonious ballad

Of holding

Seeing

Loving

Our way

Into Now

I saw you

In the sky

Today

Pink and blue

Hues brimming

With hope

And possibility

Slow down

My child

Listen

To the rain

Be

With your pain

And let me

Heal you

Under the blanket

Of Winter snow

I know

Everything is ok

Resting now

In the flow

Of things

Away from the shore

Of knowing

I float

A helpless leaf

No longer tied

To the tree

Of ego

Fully flowing

In the current

Of Now

With nothing

But the breath

Of the Great One

Holding me

And in the clearing

Of Winter

I find hidden streams

And nameless dreams

Slowly awakening

Today

I can see

The light

In the trees

And that

That

Is enough for me
